Anarkali, the name comes from the Mughal period. Anarkali was an court dancer in Emperor Akbar era when Akbar’s Son Salim fell in love with anarkali and this became a reason of big revolt between the prince salim and emperor Akabar. Although the Anarkali became a legend but her dress gained popularity and became known after The Anarkali Churidar Suit was worn by Film actress Madhubala in the Famous feature film Mughl–e-azam where she palyed the role of Anarkali. The Anarkali Churidar Suit has come back in fashion and is the latest craze in Indian and pakistani fashion. The anarkali churidar suit dress has a traditional touch to it and is normally worn in fuctions, ceremonies and festivals. The ghera around the top of the anarkali churidar suit looks beautiful and elegant on all females.The top of the Anarkali churidar suit is normally highly embellished with traditional hand embroidery of Zari, mirror, Dabka, Gotta-patti, Stone and sequins.
